Participating Teacher Induction Resources/Advising Materials

Welcome to FCSS Teacher Induction.  The General Education and Education Specialist Induction Programs provide focused induction support for teachers seeking to clear Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and/or Education Specialist credential(s).

Induction Collaboration (Year 1/Year 2 Transfer PTs & Induction Coaches)

In Year1/Year 2 Transfer Induction Collaboration, Participating Teachers will work alongside their Induction Coaches to develop their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) to provide the road map for the teachers' Year 1 requirements for the year. The ILP is designed and implemented solely for the professional growth and development of the teacher and not for evaluation or employment purposes. Goals for each participating teacher must be developed within the context of the ILP within the first 60 days of the teacher's enrollment in the program. At this session, Participating Teachers will also learn about the Advice & Assistance process which will highlight how a teacher is informed of their progress in induction, how they can request special assistance, and how they might share any questions/concerns/grievances with the Induction Staff.

Induction Collaboration (Year 2 PTs & Induction Coaches)

Year 2 Induction Collaboration has been designed to be a pre-recorded collaborative webinar. Because of the design of this webinar, Year 2 teachers and their coaches will be able to engage in the content and participate in the guided conversations with one another, based on the time and location that best meets both of their needs. Resources for this webinar will be emailed to teachers and coaches at the beginning of September. Year 2 Transfer Participating Teachers will be emailed information regarding their designated training, Year 1/Year 2 Transfer Induction Collaboration.

In this session, Participating Teachers will work alongside their Induction Coaches to develop their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) to provide the road map for the teachers' Year 2 requirements for the year. The ILP is designed and implemented solely for the professional growth and development of the teacher and not for evaluation or employment purposes.
